TerraInsight (NSW) is an engineering consultancy firm designed to assist you to solve problems associated with the ground. Our aim is to make the geoscience associated with these problems easier for you to understand. We are based locally in the Illawarra, servicing the southern coast and hinterland of NSW from Sutherland to Eden and west to Goulburn.
TerraInsight is owned and operated by Karen Gates.  The company was formed in 2016. Karen has the ability to see the wider picture as well as the detail, and loves to help clients understand the issues associated with their land using a common sense approach.  Key details about Karen’s Experience are detailed below:
- Over 20 years of experience in geotechnical engineering and environmental science
- She completed her Civil Engineering degree in 1994, QUT
- Went on to complete post graduate studies including Masters of Engineering Science (GEOT) at UNSW, Masters of Enviromental Management at Griffith University.
